My name is Rie Levinzon. I am a highly self-motivated and detail oriented individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. I want to tell you a little bit about me here.

I was born and raised in Tokyo, where I began my 14 years of extensive fine art training at the age of 4. This experience gifted me with a deep understanding of the principles of design.

Around freshman year in high school, I got into science and my dream became to be an astronaut. so I went to the Tokyo University of Agriculture and got a Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Animal Biology with Bioscience major, graduated with honors.

Upon the completion of my Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Animal Biology from Tokyo University of Agriculture, I moved to the United States to pursuit my passion for art and design. In the United States, I obtained Associate degrees in Multimedia Design Production and Interior Design as well as a Certificate of Proficiency in Web Design. Through the education, I have learned strong sense of typography, photography, and color management for print and web.

In my time at the City of Kirkland, I have worked with 13 departments and 500+ employees with different needs and requirements for print production as well as web content management support. A Design Specialist position at the City of Kirkland required speed, efficiency, quality and accuracy. I have hit all marks and received an Excellence Award from the City Manager three times.

I am a creative designer with an extensive background in art, great communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly.
